Final Fantasy for Android Os in English is finally here At long last FF III has made its way to the English speaking population. The game has been available for the Japanese for quite some time but the moment a lot of us has been waiting for is here. Originally released in japan in 1990 and it was the first game in the series to sell more than 1 million copies.
The story is well known to many of us who have played the game before. Four orphans are granted powers by the Chrystal of light. It tells them to go out in the world and restore the balance. This version of Final Fantasy 3 is a port of the remake of made for the Nintendo DS 2006.
So the big question is, should you pay 15.99 $ to play this game on your phone. The answer seems easy to me, Yes you should. If you have played the game before and remember how great it was you have probably already done so. If you have a DS lying around though you could get a used copy for the Nintendo from about 10 $. In that case the only reason I could think of is that you wouldn’t have to drag around the console when you are almost certainly have your phone in your pocket anyways.
The graphics and the gameplay looks impressive enough to make your eyes drop out of their sockets, at least for a 22 years old game. The big issue with games on smartphones seems to be the controls and from what I have read of comments on Google play it is the only negative thing anyone has to say about it. So far the game has racked up the impressive score of 4.7 based on more than 850 reviews. If the big issue however is the high price I would hold out to see if this title gets to the top of the top paid list in Google play. If it fails to do so on its own I think Square Enix will likely put it on sale for a limited time to get it to the top of the list.
