Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 will get Android 4.3 in October

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates to hit Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 by October.

We did not expect Samsung to mention these two handsets at all during the press conference held yesterday in Berlin. But as the night progressed we learned that the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch would only work with the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 ( 2014 edition )

Most likely this has to do with the lack of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on Samsungs older phones. Happily Samsung announced that both the S III and the S IV would get its Android 4.3 update by October. I guess they are eager to sell as many units as possible of their Galaxy gear smart watch.

If you have a Galaxy S3 or S4 and are planing to get the Galaxy Gear it is advisable to ensure that you have the latest available Android Os version on your phone, so that you can get the 4.3 update as soon as it is made available to you. Let me show you how to update these devices.

Remember that keeping your Android phone up to date not only ensures that you get the latest software features and visual improvements. The most important thing about keeping your phone updated is that Google is constantly removing bugs and improving security.

I am the owner and main contributor to this website. Throughout the years I've owned an embarrassing number of Android phones. Too many to mention in fact. Lets just say it started with the HTC legend and I'm now on the Galaxy Note 4.
