How to find minecraft PE seed

This is how to find the seed number of your world in Minecraft pocket edition.

Seeds is the way Minecraft identifies different worlds. Every unique world has it’s corresponding unique number. If you found an amazing world and would like to share the discovery with your friends, all you have to do is give them the seed  number.

Once someone else inserts this number and hits that Generate world button, Minecraft will generate a world that looks exactly the same way as the world does.

How to find Minecraft PE seed

  1. From inside the game press the play button to bring forth the list of available games.
  2. Press the Edit button in the top right corner.
  3. To the right, and beneath the file size, you will see a strange number which is indeed the seed of the world in question.
  4. If this was what you were looking for why not share it with someone who plays Minecraft PE.

If you have just discovered the world, and you’re still playing it you will have to exit the seed and head on over to the edit screen as described above. The last world you played will be the one at the top of the list.

While I am at it, I would like to share one of my favorite Minecraft PE seeds. I have tested this one on version 0.10.4 alpha. It is the biggest city I have seen in any Minecraft Pocket Edition world ever.
