In the beginning of the history of Android it was not unusual that you would have to root and install software to get this job done. Thankfully this is not the case any longer. If you are the lucky owner of a device running Jelly Bean you are going to appreciate the ability to take screen dumps on your phone or tablet. If you want to share with someone what is going on on your screen this is the easiest way to do this.
- Press the volume down and the power button at the same time.
- Hold them in for about a second or so.
- Key elements here is that you press and hold the two buttons at the same time.
